Politics of Mass Media in Latin America
An introduction to the politics of mass media. Comparative case studies and theories from Latin America are used to engage with studies from other regions on issues such as media’s relationship to democracy, public opinion, policymaking and grassroots organizing. No prior knowledge of Latin America needed.
